Understanding FailRP, VDM and RDM: The Golden Rules of Serious RP
Clear breakdowns and examples of Random Deathmatch, Vehicle Deathmatch and unrealistic roleplay.
Serious RP stands or falls on three rules. Break them and scenes fall apart for everyone involved.
RDM — Random Deathmatch
Attacking or downing another player without meaningful dialogue first and a fair chance to respond.
VDM — Vehicle Deathmatch
Using a vehicle as a weapon against pedestrians or other cars without a life-or-death reason.
FailRP
Anything that breaks immersion — like jumping off a four-storey rooftop and sprinting away without any medical RP.
